Uninstalling Superposer
Open Changes to Your Mac in the sidebar, then Uninstall Superposer…. You see everything that will be undone and deleted; nothing happens until you confirm.
- Windows games first (optional). While Steam is still running, Steam uninstalls the Windows games you leave checked; confirm each one in Steam and Superposer waits. Keep Keep saved games and screenshots on to copy them out first.
- Quit Steam when asked. Superposer then undoes every change it recorded, turns Steam's Windows mode off, gives Steam back any paused Mac games, and deletes its own folders, its change record last.
- Quit Superposer, then move Superposer.app to the Trash, unless other people on this Mac use Superposer: their setup runs from the same app (Special setups).
Superposer's own folders are deleted, not moved to the Trash, so keep the saves option on if you might want them (it keeps your save backups too; a backup folder you chose yourself, such as one in iCloud Drive, is never touched). Games you bought stay in your Steam account, and Mac games stay installed.
If you leave Windows games installed, Steam in normal mode may not manage them. To remove them later, install Superposer again and uninstall them through Steam, or quit Steam and delete the game's folder in steamapps/common and its appmanifest_<appid>.acf file.
