When Steam asks you something

Some games make Steam ask a question before they start: a licence agreement (EULA) to accept, which launch option to use, a notice, a Steam Cloud conflict, a CD key and so on.

  • Launch options: Superposer picks one for you: the normal one, or the one you chose in the game's Settings › Starts as.
  • Everything else is yours to answer. Superposer never accepts an agreement, dismisses a notice or settles a cloud conflict for you. When you press Play or Test in Superposer and Steam stops at a dialog, Superposer brings Steam to the front and shows Steam is waiting for you with what Steam wants (Show Steam brings it back if it slipped behind).
  • When Superposer knows a game asks for an agreement first, its page says so before you press Play. Steam asks only once.

If Steam shows a cloud conflict, check which copy is newer before you choose; see Steam Cloud saves.
