Superposer

Playing games

Playing from Steam

  1. In Steam, open a Windows-only game. Games you own are set to run with Superposer when you turn on Steam integration. For a game bought later, press Install on its card in Superposer's library: Superposer sets it up first (Steam restarts once). Steam shows Install.
  2. Install. Steam downloads the Windows version.
  3. Press Play. The first launch takes longer: Superposer sets up the game's own Windows environment, and many games prepare their shaders (some spend a few minutes on "Preparing Shaders…").

While the game starts, a small window shows the game's art. Open in Superposer there takes you to the game's page in the app.

You can also press Play in Superposer: on a game's card or its page. Superposer's library shows all your Steam games, whether each is a Mac or Windows version, how likely it is to work, and when you last played it. Not Installed lists games you own but haven't installed.

Steam's own game details say which version runs: "Superposer (Windows version) selected by you for this title". Mac Steam has no Compatibility tab, so per-game choices live in Superposer (Per-game settings).
