Superposer Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: [date]
Payments are taken by our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Managed Payments, "sold through Link") as merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method. You can ask either of us. [Stripe may itself refund within 60 days in some cases, for example if a support request to us goes unanswered for 48 hours: keep this policy at least as generous so the two never conflict.]
1. Our money-back guarantee
If Superposer Plus doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within [30] days of your first purchase (or of a renewal charge), no questions asked, whether or not you're in the EU or UK. We'd like to know what went wrong, but you don't have to say.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time (how: Subscription terms, section 4). Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep Plus until the end of the paid period. Cancelling doesn't automatically refund the current period; use section 1, 3 or 4 for that.
3. EU and UK consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK you can withdraw within 14 days of buying, without giving a reason, for a full refund.
Digital content waiver. Superposer Plus is digital content / a digital service that starts at once. At checkout you'll be asked to (a) ask us to start immediately and (b) acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the digital content has started to be supplied (EU Consumer Rights Directive, Art. 16(m); UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) [for services: you pay a proportionate amount for what you used if you withdraw after asking us to start]. [Because we give a [30]-day guarantee in section 1 anyway, decide whether to enforce the waiver at all. Offering a refund within 14 days regardless is simpler and matches payment-provider norms.]
To withdraw, email [email protected] with your order email and "withdrawal", or use the provider's link in your receipt. You can use any clear statement. We'll refund within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method.
4. Other cases we'll refund
- Faulty or not as described: if Plus doesn't work as described and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, you're entitled to a repair, replacement-equivalent or refund under consumer law, whatever the guarantee window.
- Charged by mistake: double charges, charges after you cancelled in time, or a renewal you weren't reminded of or didn't expect: refunded in full on request.
- Yearly plans cancelled early: [after the guarantee window: refund of unused full months / no refund of the unused period, except where the law requires one. Owner decision.]
- We end or materially reduce Plus: pro-rata refund of the unused prepaid period.
5. Not covered
Games, game licences and in-game purchases are sold by Valve and publishers, not us, so ask them for refunds. Superposer doesn't guarantee that a particular game will run (the app shows a "Will it work?" estimate and a one-click test first). Free-tier use isn't refundable because it's free.
6. How refunds work
Email [email protected] or use the provider's link. We reply within [2] business days. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days (your bank sets the pace). When a refund is issued, Plus ends [at once / at the end of the period]. Chargebacks: please contact us first, since we resolve refunds faster than a card dispute.
